In Oxford Insights’ 2021 global AI Index, Denmark ranks 9th. The adoption of AI at Danish organizations increased from 11% in 2020 to 24% in 2021. This significant growth has made Denmark an EU leader in AI adoption, leaving behind bigger economies such as Germany or France. In 2022, the European Commission confirmed that Denmark has the highest rate of AI adoption in Europe.
